The School of Foreign Studies aims to develop advanced and practical skills in foreign languages and, on this basis, to acquire specialized knowledge of the society, politics, economy, history, literature, culture, ideology, and languages of foreign regions, to cultivate a deep understanding of international society, and to develop human resources who are aware of the significance of their own culture in the world and can find active roles in international society or contribute to regional internationalization in order to realize "global multicultural conviviality".
To achieve the above-mentioned objectives, the School of Foreign Studies is looking for the following students.
Those who have acquired basic academic skills and excel especially in English and logical thinking, as well as the ability to express themselves in writing in Japanese (knowledge, skills, thinking, judgment, expression, etc.).
Those who have a strong interest in foreign languages, different cultures, international issues, and international exchange, and who are highly motivated to contribute to the development of local communities and international society by learning a broad and deep range of liberal arts as well as specialized courses related to these subjects (attitude toward learning through collaboration with a diverse range of people with independence).
