Aiming for excellent nursing that fuses knowledge, skills, and an abundant spirit,
we offer a comprehensive nursing science education over four years!
Technological innovation in the medical field, such as highly advanced medical care and the use of AI, is remarkable, and advanced practical skills are also required in nursing. Nursing needs are also becoming more complex and diversified due to the rapid aging of the population. In order to acquire the knowledge and skills to respond to such needs, it is said that the conventional four-year education for nurses, public health nurses, and midwives is insufficient. The Aichi Prefectural University Faculty of Nursing has been quick to respond to such social demands and provides training to enable nurses to be highly versatile in the field.

-
Collaboration to solve local healthcare issues
The Faculty of Nursing has many faculty members who are working with local communities and hospitals to improve the practical skills of nurses, disaster countermeasures, childcare support, and the prevention of lifestyle diseases. The Faculty of Nursing will return its "knowledge" to the community and work together with the community to resolve issues.
Greetings from the Dean
Nursing is a field of study that supports human health.
Nursing professionals use their specialized knowledge and skills to deliver evidence-based practices in line with the values of the people they care for. In order to understand the values of others, you need the ability to communicate appropriately and the tolerance to accept the diversity of people. In addition to acquiring specialized knowledge and skills, a university is also a place to cultivate a rich sense of humanity. Let's learn so that we can grow together.
